Young Canadian Leadership Challenge Tour

Many of the scenes from the 9 min. YCLC movie depict larger stories which are well worth telling.  Extended versions of some of these videos arealso  well worth watching. These can be visited  by CLICKING on on a YOUNG PERSON’s TOUR or alternatively on our ADULT/PARENT TOUR (as parents are invited to participate as mentors -  just not on the same team as the  use participants from their family). Please note that icons on the TOUR which say BACK  have been disabled.

I have also written a book which tells the stories in detail and which lays out the underpinnings of the program,  explaining why it is so effective where other programs have become mere entertainment due to risk-averse dilution of content. CLICK on the icon of the book Love, Liberty and Leadership if you would like to read it.

The 2 CDs which accompany/ parallel the book  are available for nominal mailing cost of $5 by contacting me at brian@yclc.ca

You  may have heard the words of  parent Ted Styles  on the video  tour,  but they are well worth hearing again.  Even to an outsider,  watching his son afterwards, it was apparent that a lot of love had gone into the weekend.  This inspired Ted to  sign on as a volunteer,  and he eventually headed one of the weekend programs himself.

THe 9 minute YCLC Movie

This movie is an overview,  with scenes from all 9 of the prototypes carried out between 2000 and 2005.

While it portrays boys and girls together at times,  our final decision on the matter was that the boys and girls each deserved an opportunity to have their own program -  then meet together afterwards.

The Video Tour

He (my son) came back pumped!  They were off, goin’, lookin’ like a knight. Came back, and this guy was really interesting to see.  If I can get my son  involved with other men,  they will also either stamp what I believe in, or make it happen a lot sooner.  There was a lot of love in that weekend!

The Young Canadian Leadership Challenge was founded in 1999-2000 by Brian Bailey M.D. and a group of volunteers, The Leaders of Tomorrow Institute - many of whom you will meet inside the site.  If you are part of a group wanting to see unprecedented results in youth from 10 to 19 years of age, and have access to adult volunteers,  click YOUR OWN YCLC, call Brian at 819-827-0561 or e-mail him at brian@yclc.ca
